1. Can the training be done as an in-house or open course?
“How to control your elephant” training is usually run as an in-house course for teams of up to 12 people. The reason we do this is because you know everyone in the team and can help and support each other after the training has finished.

2. I hate doing role plays. There aren’t any in this training are there?
Don’t worry – we won’t force people to do something they don’t want to do. There are a very small number of role plays on the training, but you don’t have to participate if you really hate them. However, we do find people really benefit from the role plays so if you do want to have a go, it will be well worth it for feeling uncomfortable for a couple of minutes.
3. Can I speak to some people who’ve been on the course?

4. I’ve been on other training courses like this – will it be the same thing?
Definitely not! This training is like nothing else you’ve ever been on before – that’s why only people who’ve been on it can tell you the secret of the elephant! In all seriousness though, this training course is extremely practical and it leaves you with a tool-kit you can use to build on to improve your verbal and non-verbal delivery to customers.
5. When I get back to my desk, how can I make sure I implement what I’ve learned?
Not only do we offer support to managers to help them integrate their learning into their organisation, but there is also a 10 week follow-up system available free of charge which delivers course reminder emails twice a week. You will know instinctively when you have implemented what you have learned. This course will enable you to work out in your own mind what you have done well and what you have not done so well in a particular customer situation.
